Extension of Singapore Tax Submission Deadlines

Extension of Singapore Tax Submission Deadlines - Singapore is going through a very tough period. Most businesses are suffering badly because of the Covid-19 outbreak that has affected every major economy in the world and Singapore is not spared. Those in tourism is suffering very badly with the lack of tourism coming into Singapore and for those in the F&B industry, there has been a major drop in traffic of people coming in and out of the restaurants.

Singapore has since implemented the circuit breaker measures that are put into place to stop the spread of the Covid-19 Coronavirus. With a one month shutdown of businesses, we expect even more disruption to the economy and also a deeper slowdown in the economy.

There is no movement allowed for most people unless they are part of essential services and only if they are out to buy food and necessities.

This has become a very strict implementation to cut off the flow of the Covid-19 virus.

With this, Individual tax and Sole Proprietorship and Partnership taxes were supposed to be submitted by the mid of April 2020 but it has since been extended to the end of May 31st May 2020.
